From: March 6

The Big 12 Tournament seeds have been set. Strap in for one of the wildest conference tournaments all year. The Big 12 is the best and deepest conference in the country, and we are here to take you through how this tournament will be played out.

Favorite: 1-Seeded Kansas Jayhawks

In a year where anyone can win on a given night in the Big 12, Kansas and Bill Self found a way to win the conference yet again. Bill Self has dominated the Big 12 since arriving in Kansas, and this year is no different. The Phog is one of the best home courts in the country, and they are in line for another 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

My Sleepers: 7 Seeded Oklahoma State, 8-seeded West Virginia

Before Avery Anderson went down with a wrist injury, Mike Boynton’s Cowboys team was rolling in the Big 12. They play hard-nosed defense with their anchor Moussa Cisse in the front court. They are a very similar team to my other sleeper, the West Virginia Mountaineers. WVU has had one of the hardest schedules in the country, yet they are still in a prime position to make the NCAA tournament. This year’s team was supposed to have Manhattan transfer Jose Perez for most of the year, but the NCAA declined his transfer waiver, so he will have to wait until next year. Regardless, Huggins has this team ready to play each and every night. The Mountaineers are the definition of pests.
